چکیده
Abstract Background Pulmonary embolism (PE) is one of the known sequels COVID-19 infection. We aimed to assess incidence PE in patients with infection and evaluate relationship between CT severity disease laboratory indicators. This was a retrospective study conducted on 96 proved by positive PCR who underwent pulmonary angiography (CTPA) calculation Available patients’ complaint data at time CTPA were correlated presence severity. Results Forty (41.7%) showed median for which 12 days after onset disease. No significant correlation found age, sex, results, COVID-19. A statistically relation desaturation, hemoptysis, chest pain. highly rising D-dimer level as well progressive findings when compared previous one. Conclusion progression are considered most important parameters suggesting underlying commonly seen during second week alert use exclude or confirm PE. may help improving management

Previous studies have demonst...

Introduction: Some evidence exists about the possible relationship between the serum uric acid (UA) and exacerbation of the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Present study intended to compare the COPD-related variables and the one-year outcome between the two groups of patients with the high and low UA. Material and Methods: This cohort study consisted of 112 patients with COPD exac...
